UTICA, N.Y. — Oneida County on Thursday announced two additional deaths from a COVID-19 infection, bringing the county’s total to 37.
The county didn’t provide any additional details about the people who passed away.
Oneida County also reported 17 new positive infections, bringing the county’s total to 819. Of the 819 positive cases, 31 patients are hospitalized in Oneida County and three are in hospitals outside the county.

The data also indicates Oneida County has 340 active positive cases and that 442 positive cases have been resolved (the people recovered).
In addition, health-care workers have conducted 6,677 tests, with 88 results pending and 5,770 negative results.
The county also reports 907 patients are under mandatory quarantine, 908 are under precautionary quarantine, and 7,665 have been discharged from mandatory and precautionary quarantine, per Oneida County’s Thursday email.
