UTICA, N.Y. — Oneida County on Wednesday reported that 22 people tested positive for the coronavirus, down one from 23 cases the prior day.
Oneida County also reported the following COVID-19 statistics:
- The 22 cases brings the county’s total to 1,936
- No new COVID-19-related deaths, 111 total
- 13 coronavirus patients are hospitalized in Oneida County (11 at MVHS, 2 at Rome Memorial), down by 3 from a day ago
- 1 patient is admitted in a hospital outside Oneida County, down from 2 the day before
- 5 hospitalized patients in the county are nursing-home residents receiving acute care (4 at MVHS, 1 at Rome Memorial)
- 232 active positive cases, up 7 from a day ago
- 1,593 people with the virus have recovered, up 15 from the day before
- 66,673 total tests have been conducted
- 64,737 total negative results
- 232 people are in mandatory isolation, up 7 from a day earlier
- 900 are in mandatory quarantine, down 71 from Tuesday
The county’s infection rate was 2.17 percent in the latest day with 22 positives out of 1,016 total tests.
