WAMPSVILLE, N.Y. — The Madison County Board of Supervisors has its first female vice chairwoman, with Town of Lincoln Supervisor Melissa During named to the role, according to an announcement from Joseph J. Pinard, chairman of the board.
“I am truly humbled to have been selected as the first female vice chairwoman of the Madison County Board of Supervisors,” During said in a press release. “It is an incredible honor. This milestone is not just a personal achievement, but a representation of the leadership here at Madison County. We are proud to say we have a great representation of women on the board, three of which are committee chairs. Confident and passionate women also lead more than half of Madison County departments. I am committed to serving with dedication, advocating for all residents, and I look forward to working collaboratively with my colleagues to make a positive impact on the future of our county.”
