UTICA, N.Y. — Oneida County on Monday reported 61 new coronavirus cases, bringing its total to 18,143 since the pandemic started.
It was the sixth time in the last eight days that the county’s daily COVID-19 infections were below 100. Cases have dropped 84 percent since Oneida County’s peak day of 364 infections on Jan. 1.
The county also said that 5,353 people have been vaccinated at its Mohawk Valley Community College and Griffiss International Airport pods with the first dose. The county said it is currently out of vaccine and will not be scheduling new first-dose appointments at the sites until more vaccine is delivered by New York State. It does not affect second-dose distribution for those who received their first shot at either of the sites.

Oneida County also reported the following COVID-19 numbers on Monday:
- 3,186 active positive cases
- 3 new COVID-19-related deaths, 347 total
- 112 patients are hospitalized in Oneida County
- 97 at MVHS
- 15 at Rome Memorial
- 12 patients are hospitalized outside the county
- 14,610 positive cases have been resolved
- 3,186 people are in mandatory isolation
- 1,282 are in mandatory quarantine
