UTICA, N.Y. — The number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 in Oneida County continues to fall steadily as discharges rise and active infections plummet.
In its Tuesday update, the county reported that 42 people were currently hospitalized in the county, with 37 patients at MVHS and 5 at Rome Health. The total is down 26 percent from 57 a week prior and 76 percent below the peak of 177 hospitalized on Jan. 6.
