UTICA, N.Y. — Oneida County on Monday reported 13 new COVID-19 cases, down from 29 the day before and 19 cases last Monday.
The number of active virus cases in the county has dipped to 286 from 356 a week prior and 403 active cases a month ago. Oneida County peaked at about 7,300 active cases in early January. Since then, infection rates have come down sharply and vaccinations have reached critical mass.
More than 101,000 Oneida County residents (101,433) have now received at least one dose of a COVID vaccine, according to New York’s vaccine-tracker website, as of 11 a.m., Monday. That equates to 44.2 percent of the total population and 55.2 percent of the age 18 and over population.

Oneida County said its county-operated vaccination sites have administered 24,974 first doses of a vaccine, plus 20,798 second doses, for a total of 45,772 doses.

- 8 patients are hospitalized in Oneida County.
- 4 at MVHS.

- 4 residents are hospitalized out of county.
- 21,080 positive cases have been resolved.

- 781,115 total tests.
- 286 in mandatory isolation.
- 478 in mandatory quarantine.
