ALBANY, N.Y. — New York State on Tuesday reported that more than 10 million state residents have received at least one dose of a vaccine that protects against COVID-19.
Half of New Yorkers, and more than six out of 10 New York adults, have now received a minimum of one shot.

- Percent of New Yorkers age 18 and over with at least one vaccine dose — 62.0%
- Percent of New Yorkers age 18 and over with completed vaccine series — 52.6%
- Percent of all New Yorkers with at least one vaccine dose — 50.2%

All New York State mass-vaccination sites are now open to eligible New Yorkers for walk-in vaccination on a first-come, first-serve basis. The walk-in availability is reserved for first doses only, with second doses to be scheduled automatically after administration of the initial shot. In addition, all vaccine providers are encouraged to allow walk-in availability for eligible New Yorkers.
Vaccinations of the 12-to-15-year-old age group has also fully launched across the state following federal approval last week.
