MAINE, N.Y. — Delta Air Lines has told the Greater Binghamton Airport that it will eliminate its service to the facility in February.
Mark Heefner, the Greater Binghamton Airport’s commissioner of aviation, issued the following statement Tuesday afternoon.
“This afternoon we were informed by Delta Airlines that they will eliminate their service to Greater Binghamton Airport on February 14th. At our request, Delta has assured us that they will personally connect with and re-accommodate all customers who booked flights after February 14th.”

We are in active discussions with Delta and are working closely with our state, local, and federal partners to re-establish passenger service as soon as possible. We also continue to have meetings with multiple airlines as we explore opportunities to expand air service at BGM. Our focus remains on providing reliable, accessible air travel options for the people and businesses of the Greater Binghamton region.”
