SYRACUSE — Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central New York announced it has appointed Rich Krahling, McDonald’s franchise owner/operator, and Jennifer Speicher, administrator at Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital, to its board of directors for 2019. Krahling and Speicher join 12 other members currently on the board.
The nonprofit also said its board officers for 2019 are: President, Colleen Schmidt, president of Molina Healthcare of New York; 1st VP, Amy Collins, general manager at CNY Central Media Group including NBC3, CBS5, CW6 and CNYCentral.com; 2nd VP, Mark Renquin, McDonald’s owner/operator; Treasurer, Karen Ohliger, relationship manager at KeyBank; and Secretary, Alan Peterman, partner at Barclay Damon LLP.
The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central New York’s other board members are: Nader H. Atallah, M.D., cardiologist and managing member of Pediatric Cardiology Associates LLC and clinical associate professor at SUNY Upstate Medical University and the University of Rochester; Paul Hatty, chief financial officer at Byrne Dairy; Colleen Kernan, director of public relations at Pinckney Hugo Group; Mike Madigan, CPA, senior VP of finance at XPO Logistics; Steve Malone, director of finance at JMA Wireless; Anthony J. Paris, Supreme Court Justice in the New York State 5th Judicial District; and Jonathan V. Riddell, M.D., pediatric urologist at Upstate University Hospital and assistant professor at SUNY Upstate Medical University.
Ronald McDonald House Charities of CNY says it operates the Ronald McDonald House in Syracuse 24 hours a day, year-round as a “home away from home” for families whose children are hospitalized with serious illnesses or injuries.
