Ronald McDonald House Charities of CNY announces new board officers, board member

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central New York, which operates the CNY Ronald McDonald House at 1100 E. Genesee St. in Syracuse, announced it has appointed new executive committee officers to its board of directors for 2024. 

 Colleen Kernan was named president of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of CNY board. She has been a member of the board for six years and most recently held the position of 1st VP. Kernan is VP of corporate communications at Pinckney Hugo Group.

Carrie Wojtaszek, chief operating officer at Galaxy Media, and Steve Case, owner and partner at Acropolis Realty Group, were appointed 1st VP and 2nd VP of the board, respectively. Andy Carlisle, director of sales at CNY Central Media Group including NBC3, CBS5, CW6 and CNYCentral.com, was named secretary. Steve Malone, director of finance at DPMS, Carestream Dental, will continue to serve as board treasurer. 

 Ronald McDonald House Charities of CNY also added Jaimie Galante, partner at Grossman St. Amour CPAs, as a new member of its board for 2024. 

The CNY Ronald McDonald House operates 24 hours a day, year-round, at no cost for families whose children are hospitalized with serious illnesses or injuries, the organization says.
