SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The Regency Tower Apartments at 770 James St. in Syracuse is now under new ownership.
CBRE Upstate NY, an affiliate office of CBRE, says it brokered the sale of the 237-unit multifamily property to a partnership between The Walden Group and Sierra Heights Management.
CBRE Upstate NY’s Lawrence Papaleo and Peter Finn brokered the transaction, per the announcement.

The transaction closed on May 30, and Regency Towers Associates was the seller, Papaleo tells CNYBJ in an email. He noted that the entities involved requested that CBRE not release the sale price.
The nearly 287,000-square-foot building is about 98 percent occupied among residential units and its six commercial tenants, which include Attilio’s restaurant, CBRE said.
