By Journal Staff

SPENCER, N.Y. — Tioga State Bank has announced that Richard (Rick) Annunziata has joined its business-banking team as a commercial-services officer.

He will be serving the Broome and Tioga county markets, the bank said in a news release distributed on June 11.

Annunziata has more than 13 years of banking experience.  In that time, he’s been providing “guidance” to bank clients on both deposit and loan products and services, according to the news release.

“I am excited to be a part of a locally owned community bank,” Annunziata said in the news release. “I hope to put my personal, business, educational and professional knowledge and experience to use to ensure my customers are successful in their own business endeavors.”

Annunziata will work in the bank’s Vestal office at 1250 Vestal Parkway E, according to the news release.

Annunziata graduated from St. John Fisher College in Rochester where he received his bachelor’s degree in management with a concentration in finance.

He resides with his wife and children in Vestal, the news release said.

“I am pleased to have Rick join our business-banking team and am confident he will be able to assist area businesses with their lending and deposit needs,” George Bowen, senior vice president and senior lender, said in the news release.

Tioga State Bank describes itself as an independent, family-owned bank serving the area for more than 150 years. It provides financial services to the Southern Tier of New York and Northern Pennsylvania.

It operates 11 office locations in Broome, Tioga, Tompkins, and Chemung counties, according to its news release.
