SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The Onondaga County Health Department announced potential COVID-19 exposures at three Syracuse–area bars, as employees at each facility tested positive for the virus.
The bars are Change of Pace Sports Bar at 1802 Grant Blvd. in Syracuse, Jammer’s Sports Bar & Restaurant at 3535 Walters Road in Van Buren, and Ye Olde Clipper Tavern at 313 Sand St. in Syracuse.
Members of the public who visited these places during the following days and times may have been exposed:

- Sunday, Oct. 18 between 11:30 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Health department investigators are working to identify all close contacts of the individuals and notifying them. Those who may have been exposed should monitor themselves for symptoms of COVID-19 for 14 days from the date of potential exposure.
The department also notes that information and guidance related to COVID-19, including testing, “changes daily,” and residents are advised to stay up to date by visiting the websites of covid19.ongov.net and coronavirus.health.ny.gov.
