UTICA, N.Y. — Oneida County on Thursday reported four COVID-19 deaths, bringing its total to 27.
It’s the most deaths reported in the county in one day since the pandemic started, eclipsing three deaths on a couple prior days in late April.
Oneida County also gave out the following statistics, in addition to the four deaths.

- 25 patients are hospitalized in Oneida County
- 3 are admitted in hospitals outside of Oneida County
- 310 active positive cases
- 362 virus recoveries
- 5,575 total tests have been conducted
- 161 test results are pending
- 4,715 total negative results
- 860 people are under mandatory quarantine
- 972 are in precautionary quarantine
- 6,084 people have been discharged from mandatory and precautionary quarantine
