A new Dollar Tree store formally opened at 900 South 1st St. in Fulton on Sept. 7. A previous Dollar Tree location in Fulton operated at 35 River Glen Plaza, but closed a few years ago. Dollar Tree, Inc. (NASDAQ: DLTR) is a Chesapeake, Virginia–based chain of discount variety stores that sells items for $1 or less. The company has about 7,000 stores in North America under the Dollar Tree name and about 8,000 stores under the Family Dollar name.
