NBT names Schindler, Clark to Southern Tier Advisory Board

NORWICH, N.Y. —NBT Bank announced that it has added Barbara Schindler and Christopher Clark to its Southern Tier Advisory Board.

NBT Bank Advisory Board members work closely with bank management and share their experience and knowledge of the local business environment to help shape the bank’s continued growth and development in the region, the Norwich–based bank said in a release.

Schindler has been president and CEO of Golden Artist Colors, Inc. since 2001. She joined the company in 1997 as controller and also served as CFO. Golden Artist Colors is a manufacturer of artist-quality materials, including colors and mediums for painting in acrylics, oils, and watercolor. Prior to Golden Artist Colors, Schindler was the controller for Niro Inc., an international firm with headquarters in Denmark.

Clark is the CEO of Clark Companies located in Delhi in Delaware County. Clark Companies is a specialized contractor focused on the design and construction of outdoor athletic facilities. Clark started his career with the company in 2007 as project manager, followed by director of operations in 2016, before stepping into his current role in 2019.

NBT Bank is a full-service community bank with 141 branches in New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine, and is currently entering Connecticut. It’s a unit of NBT Bancorp (NASDAQ: NBTB), a financial holding company also based in Norwich, with total assets of $10.9 billion as of Dec. 31.
