FoxPointe Solutions, the information risk-management division of The Bonadio Group, has added Kennebunk, Maine–based Travis Consulting Group to its consulting practice.

The Bonadio Group, headquartered in Rochester, has Central New York offices in Syracuse and Utica.

The joining of the two cybersecurity consultancies will enhance FoxPointe’s existing offerings of information-technology (IT) management, virtual chief information security officer (vCISO), assurance, and compliance services for clients.

Financial terms of the agreement weren’t disclosed in their announcement.

Travis Consulting Group, which now officially operates under FoxPointe Solutions, provides cloud-based products, consulting, and information-security services to small and mid-sized businesses, including nonprofits, across many industries.

Jeffery Travis, now director at FoxPointe Solutions, founded Travis Consulting Group in January 2021 and served as principal for just under three years before finalizing the agreement with FoxPointe.

“FoxPointe’s go to market strategy aligns well with the on-going challenges and needs that organizations face every day. FoxPointe has the proper blending of people, process and technology to deliver exceptional value to its clients,” Travis said in a news release. “I’m excited to join the FoxPointe team and look forward to working with the talented and committed staff.”

Travis joins FoxPointe’s existing team of information risk-management professionals whose specialties range from data-breach risk mitigation to maintaining internal controls and compliance programs for companies across a range of industries.

Since its founding in 2017, FoxPointe Solutions evolved from Bonadio’s enterprise risk-management division to a full-service cyber-risk management and compliance practice, “building upon Bonadio’s decades of risk mitigation expertise.”

“We are consistently seeking ways to enhance our information management solutions for our clients, including joining with respected firms like Travis Consulting Group that bring a wealth of cybersecurity and IT management knowledge,” Charlie Wood, practice lead at FoxPointe Solutions, said in the release. “We look forward to continuing to provide industry-leading risk management services to businesses throughout the Northeast and beyond.”
