ITHACA — Kionix, Inc., which manufacturers inertial sensors used in a variety of applications, launched four localized versions of its website for customers in Asian countries.
The Ithaca–based company announced the new sites, aimed at Japan, Korea, China, and Taiwan, on Thursday. The sites are complete, in-depth translations of the firm’s English site and include product information and application and developer support, according to Kionix.
“Japan, Korea, China and Taiwan are core markets for Kionix,” Kenneth Salky, executive vice president of sales and marketing, said in a news release. “It is vital for us to provide our customers with up to date information in their own language and to tailor that information to the specific needs of each market.”
