Herkimer College appoints assistant controller

HERKIMER, N.Y. — Herkimer College has promoted Colleen Bentley-Ciccone of Utica to the position of assistant controller. Bentley-Ciccone joined the college staff in 2022 as a purchasing agent in the business operations department. She previously served as assistant director of business services at Utica University, where she was responsible for purchasing and accounts payable. Bentley-Ciccone is a certified purchasing card professional, certified purchasing professional, accounts payable manager, and notary public. She holds an associate degree in liberal arts and sciences from Mohawk Valley Community College and a bachelor’s degree in business, management, and economics/human-resource management from Empire State University. One of 30 community colleges in the SUNY system, Herkimer College offers a variety of associate degree and certificate programs, including in business, criminal justice and law, and STEM. It has about 2,500 students.
