Attendees will hear from Jaison Abel, head of urban and regional studies at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, who will report on economic and industry trends across the region and state. In addition to Abel’s keynote address, attendees will receive a local housing and market update from the Greater Binghamton Association of Realtors and one of the area’s leading financial institutions. The Building BC Awards portion of the event will celebrate the innovation and growth of the greater Binghamton community via two award categories: Restorative Award and Transformative Award. The Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce will also recognize two legacy businesses, who were founded in the area and have continued to make significant contributions toward enhancing the business and economic climate of Broome County.
