“Be Empowered 2022” Women’s Conference & Expo from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. at DoubleTree by Hilton Binghamton. Kathryn Wylde, president & CEO of the nonprofit Partnership for New York City, will keynote. The day will also feature 12 varied breakout sessions on topics ranging from “Women and the Art of Risk” and “How to Spark Innovation” to “Managing Obstacles and Overcoming Adversity” and “Reducing Burnout.” Women thought leaders from around the greater Binghamton region will present on these timely topics. New this year, an entire track of sessions will be dedicated to self-care and will feature sessions on yoga, meditation, and dance. An exposition of small businesses featuring products and services for women will be located in the atrium of the grand ballroom. Two 45-minute sessions will be dedicated to giving attendees an opportunity to visit and shop with these businesses. Attendee tickets are $75.
