Barb Karas has been promoted to development and marketing director at Crouse Health Foundation. In this leadership role, she oversees a comprehensive portfolio encompassing annual giving and affinity programs (including the Crouse Health Society and Caduceus Circle), planned giving (including donor-advised giving and estate planning), and individual campaigns such as the Crouse Clocktower Restoration project. Karas is also responsible for the foundation’s marketing efforts, working to broaden its reach and amplify its impact. Karas is celebrating her 10th anniversary with the Crouse Health Foundation. She brings a diverse background to her new role, including experience in fiscal management and human resources from her time at the North Area Athletic and Education Center and experience in financial services and branch management. Karas holds a master’s degree in economics and a bachelor’s degree in international relations and affairs, both from Syracuse University.
