SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Emergent, a leadership and organizational-development firm based in Baldwinsville, plans to move to a 1,400-square-foot space in the 100 Clinton Square building at 126 N. Salina St. in Syracuse.
It’s the building that has an NBT Bank location and a mural of the Clinton Square area on its north-facing façade.
Emergent has been operating in a space of similar size at 41 Oswego St. in the village of Baldwinsville, Cathy Gaynor, a partner in the firm, said in an email response to a BJNN inquiry.

Gaynor is one of four company partners who, along with a contractor, will move into the new space on July 1, per the email response.
When asked the reason for the upcoming move, Gaynor said Emergent felt that a central location in downtown Syracuse was “more aligned” with its values.
“Many of our clients are moving downtown and our new space will now be more accessible as well as allow us run into more existing and future clients. We are excited to be a part of the downtown Syracuse community and to offer continued support to business leaders to continue to thrive and grow our region,” Gaynor added.
The company has leased its Baldwinsville space from Oswego 41 LLC.
