Gennady Bratslavsky, MD

Dr. Bratslavsky graduated from Albany Medical College with an M.D. degree with Distinction in Research. He completed his residency in Urologic Surgery and his fellowship in Urologic Oncology at NCI/NIH. After having served as a Senior Staff at the NCI he became a tenured Professor and Chairman of the Department of Urology at SUNY Upstate Medical University and has served in this role over 10 years. In February 2021, he became an endowed professor of urology.
He has co-authored over 150 peer-reviewed publications, numerous book chapters and editorials. He belongs to the American Urological Association (AUA), Onondaga County Medical Society and Society of Urologic Oncology
Bratslavsky, who immigrated from Ukraine 30 years ago and his wife have been raising money to provide medical supplies to Ukraine since the Russian invasion began in February.
