Jeffery T. Smith, partner and architect at Chianis & Anderson Architects, PLLC, has been honored by the American Institute of Architects’ National Board of Directors as a Citizen Architect for his commitment to his community and to the architecture profession. Among his current positions, Smith serves on the Village of Owego Historic Preservation Commission and the City of Binghamton Commission on Architecture and Urban Design.

James R. Sisson, an audit senior at Dannible & McKee, LLP, was elected treasurer of the Strike Out Lou Gehrig Disease Baseball Classic Committee. Sisson has been a part of the committee since 2009.

Dee Moerman has joined Daniel T. Dreimiller, CPA, P.C., as senior accountant. Moerman will be responsible for various accounting and income-tax services in all industries served by the firm. She is a certified QuickBooks adviser and has extensive experience with sales and payroll taxes. Prior to joining the firm, Moerman was a senior accountant in the small-business services department with ParenteBeard, LLC. She has 13 years public accounting experience.
