“In his speech at the Democratic National Convention last night President Obama said that he has 'never been more hopeful about America.' His 'hope' does little for the more than 20 million Americans still unemployed. It does nothing for the nearly 400,000 Americans who gave up looking for work in the month of August."

SYRACUSE — U.S. Representative Daniel Maffei (D–DeWitt) today announced he is seeking feedback from business owners in Central New York on ways to spur growth and hiring.

Maffei has released a 22-question online survey that includes questions about the challenges business owners face and what they need to grow and create more jobs, Maffei’s office said in a news release.
