U.S. Rep. Daniel Maffei (D-DeWitt) today announced a proposal that would put the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in charge of the cleanup of Onondaga Lake.
U.S. Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) is introducing a similar bill in her chamber.
The lawmakers outlined their proposal, which would officially be known as the Onondaga Lake Restoration Act, during a press conference at Syracuse's Inner Harbor. | If you are already a subscriber click here to login
